Oracle Analytical, Precision Agriculture:
Did you have Russet mites this year? Maybe it wasn't Russet mites, maybe it was white flies, bud mold, or nutrient deficiencies. Precision Agriculture can identify these plights before they wreck havoc on your garden. It can save you time and labor cost, and ultimately increase yield by up to 17%!
Here's how it works. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is used to identify healthy v. unhealthy plants before they show signs of stress by identifying the amount of Infrared Light that is reflected. Healthy plants absorb 92% of visible light, and reflect more infrared light. Unhealthy plants reflect most of the visible light and absorbs more infrared light. This data allows farmers to care for the specific crops that need the extra attention. Giving those plants extra attention means greater yield.
We offer three packages to best suit your needs and budget, All of our plans include initial setup, calibration, and site plan of the subject property. We will grid out your site and assign an AlphaNumeric identifier to each plant. After each aerial collection, our team will process the data and return a report to you identifying which plants or group of plants are in most need of your attention. Each plan is in effect for a 6 month period from May-October.
The Basic Package provides clients with a monthly imagery collection and returns a post-flight report of areas of concern including maps and plant identifier numbers.
The Standard Package provides clients with a bi-monthly imagery collection and returns a post-flight report of areas of concern including maps and plant identifier numbers.
The Premium Package provides clients with a weekly imagery collection to spot issues immediately, allowing gardeners to respond in real time. Returns a post-flight report of areas of concern including maps and plant identifier numbers.
Planning Services:
Rogue Mappers is familiar with the Jackson County, OHA, and OLCC application processes and have helped many clients navigate the process including precise garden maps, water rights, and licensing.
Data Services:
The first step in implementing any successful GIS starts with the digitization of your existing paper records. With records digitized and implemented into GIS, you are able to unlock various workflow improvements and implement a successful disaster recovery strategy for your data.
App Development:
As many GIS professionals know, the future of GIS is not in the printed map, but rather in web maps and applications. Web maps and apps provide the user all of the information included in a paper map with the added benefits of bringing that map to life with the flexibility to turn data on and off, add your own notes or data, and pan and zoom to the specific area of interest. We at Rogue mappers have been early adopters of the web mapping strategy and can help you meet all of your organizations online GIS goals. As with any of our services, we start by evaluating the lowest cost solutions for our clients and move into more customized solutions as needed. We care as much about your budget as you do.
Mapping and Data Visualization:
